JOHN RIVENBURGH
KERRVILLE HILLS WINERY & INCUBATOR
John Rivenburgh has been producing high quality Texas wines for nearly two decades. Rivenburgh’s winemaking philosophy is to understand all aspects of the winemaking process, starting with good stewardship of grapes and sustainable farming techniques. John has won dozens of wine awards on the state, national, and international level with multiple Texas brands. He currently owns Kerrville Hills Winery, a tasting room and Texas’ first wine incubator, a communal space for learning low intervention winemaking. He has been very active in leading legislation to advance and protect the Texas wine industry. John has had two Presidencies under Texas Hill Country Wineries, and his iconic motto is Drink Texas, Texas!

BRYAN CHAGOLY
Bryan Chagoly and his family founded Sandy Road Vineyards in 2016 on their century farm in the Texas Hill Country near Hye, TX. Today they grow 16 acres of Spanish, French and Italian grape varieties and focus on growing boutique Texas wines that showcase the uniqueness of Texas terroir. Prior to becoming a wine grower, Bryan graduated from Texas A&M University and spent his first career in software technology startups in Austin.

BLAKE DEBERRY
TORR NA LOCHS VINEYARD & WINERY
Blake DeBerry, along with his wife Karen, founded Torr Na Lochs Vineyard & Winery (TNL) in 2015 to be a boutique winery making wines utilizing 100% Texas grown grapes. Located near Burnet in the Texas Hill Country, TNL currently produces approximately 5000 cases of wine per year with 20% of its production coming from it 3-acre estate vineyard and the remaining fruit coming from the Texas High Plains. Blake and Karen run all aspects of the vineyard/winery and are passionate about creating a truly Texas wine experience for their guests. Prior to working full time at TNL, Blake served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dril-Quip, Inc. from October 2011 until his retirement in December of 2021. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and in 2020 was recognized as a Distinguished Engineer by the Texas Tech Whitacre College of Engineering.

TATE GREGORY
Tate is the vineyard manager for William Chris Vineyards. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and began in the Texas wine industry in 2019 after a harvest in Sonoma, CA.

DOUG LEWIS
Lewis Wines was established in 2010 by friends Doug Lewis and Duncan Mcnabb. Understanding that great wine is made in the vineyard, we use 100% Texas grapes with a focus on soil health, vine health and quality grapes. Our goal is to remain invisible in the cellar, producing age-worthy wines that showcase the vintage, vineyard and farming. Our property is located just west of Johnson City in the Pedernales River Basin where we grow Tourgia Nacional, Tinto Cao, Tannat and Alicante Bouschet.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
KELLY OLSON
Kelly is a strategic operations and customer experience leader with a passion for the Texas wine industry. As the Executive Director of Texas Wine Growers, she is committed to advocating for 100% Texas-grown wines and fostering collaboration among Wineries, Growers, and our Advocate members. Kelly brings marketing agency and customer retention expertise to TWG as it continues to grow its membership and industry impact across Texas. She has visited over 70 wineries across Texas (so far)! Kelly is a certified Texas Wine Ambassador and holds a WSET Level 2 with Distinction. She is currently pursuing a Wine Business Certificate from Texas Tech University. When she’s not championing Texas wine, Kelly is a fractional Customer Growth & Retention Leader, helping founders and CEOs at growing agencies, professional services firms, and tech start-ups build post-sales programs to increase customer lifetime value.
